This service includes transfer of up to 10GB of existing user data (transfer of more than 10GB can be quoted on if required) and the setting up of the user’s email, contacts and internet favourites on the new machine. This service is only available as an additional option in conjunction with a PC/Notebook install service.

Key Service Steps

• Data transfer of user data from customer’s designated fileserver system to new machine. The data must be networked and available to that end user account
• Data transfer involves transferring customer data files, not application programs, from a Wintel to Wintel platform.
• Maximum data transfer 10GB although more may be possible depending on network speeds
• Placing user files in an agreed location, setting up email, contacts and internet favourites.

Customer Responsibilities

It is the Customer’s responsibilities to:

• Carefully review this statement of work for the installation services purchased
• Back up all user data to the network and ensure that a copy is accessible for performance of the service
• Ensure all data is virus free and otherwise free from any corruption that would affect a timely performance of the service
• Ensure that the network and servers provide adequate speeds for the timely performance of the service.
• Provide the installer with any necessary configuration information, network passwords, a unique machine ID etc to complete the installation.
• Other reasonable actions to enable the service to be satisfactorily completed

Service Exclusions

This service does not include installation of products nor application activity other than as specifically noted. In particular, it does not cover the installation of any software applications.
